Owned and run by Joanna Lloyd Aylett, Maelor Equestrian
Centre (formerly Hope Equestrian Centre) is based in Hope, North Wales, easily accessible, about 4 miles
from the A55 on the B5373. Nestled in the Welsh countryside, we are surrounded by stunning views.
Our British Dressage approved Centre includes an
indoor school (1,500sq.m) with viewing area and canteen/training room, floodlit outdoor arena (1,800sq.m), full course of
show jumps (with timing equipment) and tuition to suit both the very novice rider as well as those more advanced. We
host weekly show jumping competitions for both juniors and seniors, and regular dressage competitons, both BD affiliated and
unaffiliated.
Clinics and lec-dems will be arranged with top-class instructors/riders
and forthcoming events will be regularly updated on our 'event programme' page.
Our cross country course will be re-vamped this spring/summer
and will boast over 30 fences, to include ditches, water and hedges. Future plans are to host PC one day events and to provide
a local cross county training course for private, club and organisation use.
Our all-weather outdoor arena is boundaried by a natural
amphitheatre which gives ample viewing for an abundance of spectators.
Times for forthcoming BD and unaffiliated dressage competitions
will also be posted on this site, Thursdays for Saturday competitions and Fridays for Sunday competitons.
