Pupil Testimonials
'We met Joanna through Flint & Denbigh Hunt Pony Club dressage training around 4 years ago, and haven't looked back. Both my daughter and I now own dressage horses sourced through Jo, and through her superb training we are constantly improving - and moving up through the grades. Jo is simple unique - she develops amazing understanding of the horse and the rider and brings out the best in both, motivating us to maximise our performance. Steph Bradley.
Maelor Equestrian Centre also holds regular Tuesday Training days, with morning group lessons for flat work, and afternoon group show jumping lessons. Trainers to date have included Joanna Lloyd-Aylett, Sue Cottrell and Sarah Williams for flat work, Lee Williams, Rachel Thompson and Polly Stockton for jump training. 'Since being coached by Jo I am delighted that my riding has improved dramatically. Also, as a result of changing my attitude if something`s not quite right, from "that`ll do" to "that`s not acceptable", my horse gets better and better the more I now ask of him. Lessons are enjoyable, hard work, varied and fun - Jo has endless ways of getting great results out of both horses and riders. When praise comes you know it`s well deserved and constructive criticism usually comes via her lively sense of humour. As well as my own experience, I have seen Jo`s patience and encouragement in imparting the skills and knowledge she has, raising the aspirations, motivation, confidence levels and achievements of others she trains. I really look forward to my lessons with Jo and the mutual support and encouragement of friends made via the great social side to the centre that she has created. Viv Dixon and Harry'
